AS FAR AND CLOSE AS HERE

The photographic essay and film are a tribute to togetherness, to adolescence and adulthood as they gently hint at untold yet familiar stories of the east and south East Asian diaspora in the western context.
It focuses on the meanings of identity and home in the midst of cultural displacement, between unknown places and new homes, shedding light onto the process of growth and the bond of collective experience.
